The Advantages Of Green Tea

I love Green Tea so so much, I tend to drink 3-4 mugs of it a day, I knew it had lots of health benefits but I thought I'd do some research and what I discovered was pretty surprising! 
I drink Twinings Pure Green Tea and love it, but I know a lot of don't like the taste of it on it own, but there are lots of fruit infused green teas that are equally healthy and taste pretty good too! And if you're not really a tea drinker, you can even take green tea extract tablets, so you have no excuse!
What is Green Tea?
Green tea has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries to treat everything from headaches to depression. The leaves are supposedly richer in antioxidants than other types of tea because of the way they are processed. Green tea is made from the leaves from Camellia sinensis that have undergone minimal oxidation during processing. 

Benefits
  • Green Tea helps burn fat - Green Tea has been shown to increase fat burning and boost the metabolic rate.
  • Green Tea is good for your health - Green Tea has shown to lower bad cholesterol, help lower blood pressure, help protect against diabetes, guards against hepatitis, protect against cancer, and many many more.
  • Green Tea is good for your skin - Green Tea helps keep your skin clear and because of it's anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory, it also helps reduce the signs of ageing!
There are many different brands of green tea, you just have to find the right one in the right flavour for you. There is also Arizona Green Tea which is my all time favourite, the only downside is they do have extra sugar added to them so you have to be careful.
